2021 DocSend Startup Index: Active VC List
We've created a list of VCs who are actively looking at deals and offering term sheets. Can I fundraise for my company right now?
The current state of the economy has thrown the entire startup ecosystem into a state of uncertainty. We’re closely monitoring our Pitch Deck Interest Metrics to offer some insight into the overall health of startup fundraising. But each sector and VC is going to be different based on how impacted they are by the current crisis. That’s why we’re compiling a list of VCs who are actively looking for deals right now. We’ve divided their activity levels into three main areas: focusing on their current portfolios, reviewing deals, and offering term sheets. We’re collecting data from as many VCs as we can, but if you know the status of a VC, feel free to let us know. We’ll share more here as we collect more data.
About the DocSend Startup Index
The DocSend Startup Index is a first of its kind index covering fundraising from Pre-Seed to series B. It offers the first look under the hood at what makes a founder successful, from their age to team size to the order of their pitch deck.
You can read all of our research in the Startup Fundraising Playbook. We take a deep dive into what makes a company successful from the Pre-Seed to Series A round.
We've also compiled a list of recommended reading to help keep you up-to-date on what's happening with startup fundraising. Check back regularly for updates. Or if there's something you would like to see, email us at research(at)docsend(dot)com.
Our research is in-part driven by the founder and VC community. Consider taking our founder survey and VC survey to contribute to our research. Your response give DocSend access to nonprofits in the DocSend for Good program.
