A people-centric view of your visitors
One of our primary goals at DocSend is to find innovative ways to give you insight into how your clients are engaging with the documents you send them. In the spirit of that, we’re super excited to announce contact profiles in DocSend!
You’ll notice that the Visits page is now the Contacts page. The new Contacts page provides a holistic view of a visitor’s activity across all the documents they’ve visited. Managers on Business and Enterprise plans get the added bonus of being able to see all contacts any member of the team has engaged with– super useful for gaining insight into how sales are progressing across the team. Rich profiles
In addition to consolidated visitor reporting, we’ll show rich profiles of your recipients that may include a photo, full name, their company, a short bio with their job title, and relevant social network profiles (like Twitter or LinkedIn). Whereas before you may have had to Google around to figure out who exactly corresponds to a given visitor email address, with this new information organizational mapping is much easier.
Contacts created automatically
These profiles are built automatically whenever we have an email address for a visitor. So, for links with Individual tracking (including mail merge links), profiles are created without the visitor having to provide an email address. For links with Group tracking, we’ll build rich profiles based on the email address your visitors provide when they open your link.
If you’re creating links from Gmail using the DocSend Chrome Extension, we’ll do this for you automagically (unless you’re sending a link to multiple people and allowing anonymous viewing) .
